Description:
A race condition vulnerability was reported in Perl in the 'File::Path::rmtree()' function. A remote user may be able to obtain potentially sensitive information.
Ubuntu reported that the rmtree() function changes the permissions of files and directories before removing the files and directories, making them world readable and writable. As a result, a local user may be able to exploit this race condition (after the permissions have been changed on the files but before they have been removed) to obtain potentially sensitive information or possibly modify sensitive files.
