Description:   A vulnerability was reported in IBM WebSphere Application Server Admin Console. A remote authenticated user can view files on the target system.

The Admin Console does not properly validate user-supplied input. A remote authenticated user can supply a specially crafted request containing '/../' sequences to view files on target system that are located outside of the intended directory.

Artem Metla reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can view files on the target system.
Solution:   IBM has issued a fix (APAR PH01617).
